Another Picture of the clouds.  They can be so beautiful and fun to photograph.  With my limitations I have because of the lenses I have, my outside pictures come out better then ones with less light.

One of my kids favorite pasttime is to go to the ceramics shop.  I got this great idea that we all go in there and make a bowl.  They turned out so good.  Plus we all had a great time having a family day together.

So today I really couldn't decide which picture I liked better, so I posted all three.  A Day at the park, ok an hour, It was so cold out there.  You would never think it is halfway through April.  I liked the way these pictures turned out.

This is my daughter Mikayla's peice that she did in ceramics class at school.  I really liked how it turned out. I am not impressed with how the picture turned out though.  I am going to try taking the picture again maybe on a lighter background and see if that helps I just did not want to do it on white though.  If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.  Although this is all part of the learning process.

 Baseball season has started!!!   Fun nights at the ball field to come.  Mikayla really loves playing sports and we really love to watch her.

I loved the way the clouds looked, so of course the out came the Camera.  Then when I got home I had to photoshop it because there was this beautiful trailer park just across the fence, haha.  I really like the way it turned out.  Thanks for looking!!!

This is an old barn in Sequim.  I think that it just looks really cool and I love seeing the old barns and buildings still up around town. 

Hidden Treasure

This is the Treasure I found while in Victoria, it is a 1930 or 1940 Camera that actually works.  I wanted it just for the looks but what is really cool is that it really works.  I can't wait to test it out.

Bubby (Jay) loves being on the farm and being a part of what is going on.  He always asks if he can see the baby cows.  I am so glad my kids love the farm life as much as I  do, so far at least!!! 



This Little Piggy

One of the joys we get as pig farmers is that we get to see baby piggys all the time.  They are so curious and energetic animals.  I could just sit and watch them all day long.  They are kind of like puppys in the way that they run and play and jump.  I am sure I will be sending some more precious piggy pictures your way in this year.  Thanks for looking.

Clock Tower

This is another shot from our weekend in Canada.  I photoshopped it to bring out the red in the building.  I just thought it was very nice when I saw the clock tower.  It was also something in Victoria that I hadn't even noticed all my trips there.

Port Angeles Harbor

This is a picture of the Port Angeles Harbor and the Coho ferry dock. I took this picture from the Coho ferry on our way to Victoria.  I Photoshopped it  to bring out the colors of the buildings.  I will probably post a lot of pictures of scenery because it is so beautiful up here on the Peninsula. 

Victoria British Columbia Capital

Day 2

 I got a lot of great shots this weekend while we were on our family weekend in Victoria BC.  Now I just have to play with them to see which ones are 365 worthy.  This is one that caught my eye right away while I was scanning through my picture album from this weekend and it did not need a lot of work.  This is a fun shot of the Capital Building in Victoria Canada.  I liked it because it is not your normal frontal shot of the Capital.

I am taking the 365 challenge. 

The Challenge is to:

1. Post a picture taken by myself everyday for 365 days. 

2. Read through magazines or online about photography at least 4 days a week

3. Look through my manual and use what I've learned

4. Look at Professional images and viewing tutorials online

5.Challange myself to be more creative with my camera and photoshop 

This is a picture of my son, Jay, taken on the first day I had my new Camera.  It is a Canon EOS 30D.  He is doing his favorite thing in the whole world, driving BopBop's (Grandpa's) tractor.
